Self Storage Unit Size Guide

Small Storage Units

  • If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to store only a handful of boxes and miscellaneous items, then small storage units are perfect. These storage spaces can easily fit items up to about the size of a full-sized mattress. Anything larger will need more square footage of storage space. Think of them as approximately the size of a walk-in closet, able to hold about one room’s contents. Small storage units are handy for tackling seasonal storage, such as clothing and holiday decorations. They can also provide support for home storage spaces, like closets and garages, that might be getting overwhelmed.

Medium Storage Units

  • When you are sure the small storage units are not enough space for your load, search through our medium storage units. These are able to hold about 2-3 rooms’ contents, including multiple mattresses of any size and few pieces of large furniture. It is always a good idea to double check the measurements of large items against the measurements of your storage units. Rent a medium storage unit as a long-term storage solution for your belongings that are not used frequently, so you can keep your home free from clutter.

Large Storage Units

  • Why would you need to rent a large storage unit? For homeowners and renters, these spaces offer plenty of room to keep your belongings safe through a move or lengthy renovation. Set up your items by creating a center aisle for easy access in all corners of the space. For business owners, self storage can be an affordable alternative to renting warehouse space and upsizing the office. We have two storage facilities that are equipped to take on every storage need.
